Kolagunda, Karnataka

A sustainably crafted farmhouse where nature, local materials, and smart technology come together in seamless harmony.

This farmhouse (Totadamane) is a harmonious blend of architecture and ecology, where the boundaries between the built and the natural dissolve. Designed around a central courtyard, the home fosters a constant dialogue with its surroundings—inviting natural light, fresh air, and greenery deep into the heart of the residence. The material palette draws from the land, incorporating locally sourced and earthen materials to reduce the project's carbon footprint while preserving a grounded aesthetic.

Balancing tradition with innovation, the house integrates smart IOT systems to manage lighting, climate, and energy usage efficiently, delivering modern comforts with minimal environmental impact. The architecture is crafted to optimize passive lighting and cross-ventilation, ensuring the interiors remain naturally bright and breathable through the day. This project exemplifies our approach to sustainable living—rooted in place, responsive to climate, and enriched by technology.
